Load Covering Solutions (LCS) is planning to open their new Facility located at 715 N. Rocky Ridge Rd., Cadiz on Dec. 1, 2022. As part of LCS’ new U.S. Team, the company is proud to announce Ernie Baker as its General Manager at the new Cadiz, KY plant. LCS chose Baker as its General Manager for his extensive manufacturing and management experience; knowledge of the Cadiz community; and desire to make LCS one of the best places to work.
Baker is a lifelong resident of Cadiz and has worked in the local automotive supply industry for 39 years, including management positions at Johnson Controls, American National Rubber, FabSol and Derby Fabricating. Most recently, he has worked as a General Manager of Molded Devices Inc., based in Tempe, AZ. Over the course of his career, Baker has worn many hats and has vast experience in all manufacturing disciplines. Under his leadership, Derby Fabricating won numerous awards from customers and was also voted “Best Places to Work in Kentucky” in 2015.
Baker resides in Cadiz with his wife Jennifer. He is an avid golfer who always has his dog, Sophie, along as his caddy. They have one daughter Amanda and son-in-law Logan Harber.
Baker starts with LCS on Oct. 24. LCS looks forward to Baker driving its business forward, making a great work environment, and finding the right employees to continue LCS’s pursuit of product and customer service excellence.
