Felling Trailers: Outside Sales Representative - NW

Felling Trailers is seeking an Outside Sales Representative. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and improving the dealer network and for generating sales to meet or exceed established sales goals in his/her territory, which includes but is not limited to: MT, WY, CO, UT, ID, WA, OR, CA(Northern), NV(Northern)

The ideal candidate would reside in any of the aforementioned states and would be required to travel within said territory at least 70% of the time.

Essential Specific Job Duties:

1. Keeps abreast of changes, developments and new products in his/her area of responsibility and advises management of potential applicability.

2. Conducts special studies and analysis in his/her area of responsibility as directed.

3. Creates forecasts and projections of sales in his/her area of responsibility.

4. Develops, gains approval of and attains sales goals in his/her area of responsibility.

5. Develops plans and timetables for sales efforts.

6. Maintains the dealer network by recruiting, qualifying, training and supporting dealers.

7. Maintains ongoing, regular contact with dealers to perpetuate the relationship and ascertain their future needs.

8. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all Felling Trailers lines, their specifications, options and features.

9. Provides dealers with any advertising and promotional support that is available.

10. Fields calls, e-mails, faxes from dealers and customers and responds to their questions in a timely fashion.

11. Prepares quotes and pricing for dealers in a timely fashion.

12. Consults with Sales Manager, Sales Coordinator, and Engineering on the design and build of custom trailers.

13. Participates in trade shows as needed and provides input to management on the value of trade shows.

14. Provides input on marketing programs and efforts.

15. Participates in the reconciliation of warranty issues as needed.

16. Utilizes SalesPro quoting and CRM software(Sales Force) and all other software to accurately track customer communication.

17. Completes all required documentation completely and in a timely fashion.
