Reporting to the Vice President Sales and Marketing, the purpose of the Sales Manager is to establish and maintain Doepker relationship with customers through dealer principles, dealer personnel, and direct contact while supporting the Marketing and Sales strategies set out by Doepker.



  • Ensuring customer satisfaction in conjunction with Doepker and dealer success
  • Provide dealer support for sales, product training, quotation of product and marketing of Doepker products
  • Provide information, train, and implement Doepker’s parts plan to dealers and their sales staff
  • Ensure that the dealership sales staff are motivated and proud to sell Doepker products
  • Interact with dealership personnel as well as customers to ensure Doepker’s mission and vision statements are carried out
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department to supply critical information for price books, advertising and product information
  • Work closely with the Warranty & Service Departments to help organize and maintain the level of quality and service expected by Doepker’s customers and dealers
  • Provide valuable information back to Doepker in regards to market analysis and dealer productivity to establish accurate, short-term and long-term forecasting



  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or Marketing
  • Computer and business management experience is an asset
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting, floor planning and advertising is an asset
  • At least 3 years of retail or wholesale experience would be preferred.

Regional Sales Manager (ND, SD, KS, IA, MN, WI)

Department:              Agriculture Sales

Reports To:                 VP of Agriculture



To promote and sell Shur-Co products by making on-site calls to fleets, dealers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) in the states of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The right candidate for this position would be located in the territory being served.  No relocation allowance.


The successful candidate for this position is a hands-on, supportive professional with direct sales experience in one or more of the following markets: Agriculture, Construction, Flatbed and/or Trailer Sales (either direct or through distribution).  He/she must have experience identifying customers and building relationships with key decision makers within these markets.  Candidates with experience in tarp system or truck/trailer sales will be given top priority.  The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties and other duties as assigned.



  • Develop yearly business plans specific to the territory
  • Manage existing key accounts (OEMs, Dealers, and Fleets) in the Agriculture market by providing technical support, sales support, and handling customer concerns
  • Identify and establish New Accounts strategically located within the territory by:
    • Evaluating initial qualification
    • Establishing credibility and building rapport
    • Focusing on continuously building the business relationship
  • Solve customer problems
  • Perform product, installation, and maintenance training for customers as applicable
  • Identify opportunities and communicate with Shur-Co engineering and marketing to qualify and quantify such opportunities
  • Represent Shur-Co at key industry trade shows including regional farm shows, truck shows, and other regional association shows as necessary
  • Weekly & Monthly reporting of activity and performance using the company’s CRM tools and available sales reporting software packages
  • Prioritization of travel schedule, coordinating as necessary with branch, regional, and corporate activities
  • Nurture internal working relationships with Shur-Co engineering, customer service, accounting and manufacturing
  • Productive travel within the territory expected to be 50-75% depending on the time of year.



  • BA or BS in a related field (Marketing, Engineering, Business) or 3-year minimum equivalent industry sales experience
  • Experience successfully managing multiple key accounts in the Ag, Construction, Flatbed or Truck/Trailer market(s)
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and translate into product needs and/or configurations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to perform sales responsibilities over the phone and by videoconferencing (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • Familiarity with CRM and e-commerce platforms
  • Formal Sales Training a plus

Director of Service

The Director of Service will join our team and be responsible for the operational success and profitability of the Service departments at all STS locations. This is a full-time position and pay will be competitive based on education-level and experience. This position is responsible for efficient day-to-day running of all repair shops including best use of space, equipment, and technicians, and effective coordination of service department workload.

Works with: Director of Finance & Operations and Business Development Manager


Primary Job Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daily operations of all service departments.
  • Know the status of all jobs and report any concerns to Senior Leadership
  • Ensure that every job is completed on time, on schedule, and correctly the first time at maximum door rate
  • Develop and execute all department forecasts, goals, and objectives.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to promote and meet department and company goals.
  • Conduct department weekly and monthly meetings with service team members and key stakeholders.
  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with all service team members.
  • Create personal development plans for service team members.
  • Foster an environment of communication within the service department.
  • Develop a master plan for increasing the efficiency of our systems and repair order processing.
  • Build knowledge in all aspects of service operations including but not limited to work orders, invoicing, estimating, warranty processing, repair procedures, etc.
  • Work with Corporate Recruiter and marketing team to recruit talented service personnel.
  • Develop and coordinate a technician training plan and system.
  • Promote technician retention, productivity, and general morale through verbal communications and assistance with production related needs.
  • Resolve customer problems to restore and promote positive customer relationships.
  • Promote all areas of the company through business development activities and relationship building.
  • Actively contribute as a key manager of the company’s leadership team.
  • Reinforce safety standards and assist with our safety programs.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

  • Must be able to read, write, communicate, and interpret accurately in English. This position requires the ability to read and write reports, business correspondence and desk procedures. Employee must demonstrate the ability to interact tactfully, positively, and strategically with customers, vendor partners and team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products. Excel a must and the ability to operate other office equipment. Strong knowledge and experience in using CDK Global or a related dealer managements system a plus.
