Phillips Poland has completed an initial round of transformative changes to their operations to respond to rapid growth in turnover and more closely align their capabilities with the European and worldwide markets they serve. Phillips Poland supplies 24v electrical and air brake components for commercial vehicles.
The Phillips Poland organization has been strengthened in all areas of its operations. The Phillips Poland management board directing these business improvements includes Pete Joy, president of the Management Board, and Julita Mazurkiewicz, vice president and general manager/Management Board member. The organization structure reports directly to Mazurkiewicz who is also general counsel for Phillips Europe.
Phillips Poland has had continued growth through 2020 into 2021. They have become a larger and more capable supplier to the commercial vehicle industry and reacted quickly to the challenges caused by the pandemic. During this period, Phillips Poland also placed priority on becoming a leader of innovation. The launch of the new QS6 and QS6+ product lines is the first result of this strategy. These new patented products will be the first on the market designed to combine ergonomic usability with a modern look.
During the second quarter of 2021, Phillips Poland will begin the first in a series of planned investments. The first stage will be a substantial expansion of the facility itself. The company has also made sizeable investments in equipment to significantly increase manufacturing capabilities. Major upgrades to the Phillips Poland operations have allowed the company to re-source production in-house from third-party suppliers. These changes have increased production capacity and quality as well as improved their response to the critical delivery demands of the market.
Phillips Poland’s goal is to further develop business within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region, extending its reach to serve potential customers globally. Increased investments in marketing and e-commerce will adapt to current and future needs necessary to support and meet this goal.
