Atlantic Great Dane, a distributor of transportation solutions in the Upper Northeast, has announced the company is under new ownership.
President Gene Masteller acquired the company after serving Atlantic Great Dane for more than 30 years. He began his career with Atlantic Great Dane in 1990 as a shop hand, working his way through parts and sales, later being named vice president of the company in 2017, and president in 2020. Masteller says he is honored to take ownership of the company where he has served a loyal customer base for many years.
Atlantic Great Dane’s team of more than 23 employees serve a range of customers on the Northeastern Seaboard, offering a robust aftermarket program within the Great Dane network, with access to features designed to streamline the functions of parts and service centers, including ordering, pricing and invoicing, the company says.
Founded in 1988, Atlantic Great Dane is headquartered in South Portland, Maine, and is one the largest semi-trailer dealers and aftermarket service providers in its region, steadily growing its customer base coast to coast through the years.
