The labor force participation rate decreased by 0.3 percentage point to 61.4% in September 2020. This was 2.0 percentage points lower than in February and up from a low of 60.2% in April.
The employment–population ratio, at 56.6%, changed little in September but was 4.5 percentage points lower than in February. The September ratio was up from a low of 51.3% in April.
