The Producer Price Index for final demand increased 7.3% from June 2020 to June 2021, the largest over-the-year percentage increase since these data began in November 2010.
For the 12 months ended in June 2021, prices for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services increased 5.5%, the largest 12-month percentage increase since these data began in August 2014. Prices for goods increased 11.7% while prices for services increased 5.2%.
