Final Demand Producer Prices up 6.6 Percent for the Year Ended May 2021

The Producer Price Index for final demand increased 6.6% from May 2020 to May 2021, the largest over-the-year advance since 12-month changes were first calculated in November 2010.

Prices for final demand goods increased 11.1% for the 12 months ended in May 2021, while prices for final demand services increased 4.5% and prices for final demand construction increased 2.8%.
