Consumer Prices Increased 0.6 Percent for the Year Ended June 2020

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers increased 0.6% from June 2019 to June 2020, after falling 0.1% for the year ended in May.

For the year ended in June 2020, consumer prices for all items less food and energy increased 1.2%. Over that period, food prices increased 4.5%, prices for food at home rose 5.6%, and energy prices fell 12.6%.
