Collection and Use of Personal Information
NTDA respects your privacy and is sensitive to concerns regarding the collection and use of personal data. NTDA will only collect personally identifying information, such as your name, job title, address, phone number and e-mail address (“Personal Information”), when voluntarily submitted by you, such as when you contact us or complete an online form or seek to access members-only content. If you do not want us to collect this information, do not submit it to us.
Your Personal Information may be stored and used by NTDA to provide services to you, to create a personalized experience for you, to contact you, to inform you of new services or changes to existing offerings, and to expedite transactions on your behalf, such as registration for events or educational sessions. Your Personal Information may also be made available to our members.
When you join NTDA or renew your NTDA membership through our website, we require information related to your business or organization to process your application, including business name, address, business type, and size. This information is protected just as your Personal Information. Access to members-only content does not grant access to our member records database, which is stored off-site.
Sale or Lease of Your Personal Information
We do not sell or rent your Personal Information or business information to vendors or other third parties. Your Personal Information or business information may be made available to our members. The NTDA Board of Directors had voted to not share email addresses of members or Convention attendees.
The NTDA reserves the right to disclose your information to any successor organization, or when required by law. In matters involving a possible danger to personal or public safety, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NTDA, our members or others, the NTDA may voluntarily provide information to the appropriate government authorities.
