Phillips Connect Technologies Names Managing Director

William (Bill) Ellis has been named Managing Director of Phillips Connect Technologies (PCT), a division of Phillips Industries.

The PCT division is developing several different packages of products that will offer their patent-pending “plug and play connectivity”. The open platform is designed to work seamlessly with many sensor-driven components supplied by various component manufacturers. Sensor data can be transmitted to the driver, to the fleet’s operations team, or even the trailer OEM utilizing various telematics options.

Prior to joining Phillips Industries, Ellis was most recently a partner at Keystone Transportation Solutions, LLC, a transportation service provider to international commodity traders on the Inland Port of Virginia.

Ellis received his BA in Government from Cornell, his MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia and served in the United States Navy as a Lieutenant.

“In his new position, Bill will rely on his experience, his proven ability at cultivating and growing new relationships and his fit with Phillips philosophy of family values, hard work and listening to our customers,” commented Rob Phillips, president and COO.
