Shur-Co®, LLC is pleased to announce the expansion of its ShurTite™ product line to a new location in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. ShurTite™, formally Roll-Tite™, has been a Shur-Co® brand since 2014. With the new location opening in November 2015, Shur-Co® of Sioux Falls will be able to install ShurTite™ retractable tarp systems for flatbed trailers, drop deck trailers, straight trucks and specialty vehicles. U.S.-NAFTA Freight Totaled $93.2 Billion in September 2015

The value of U.S.-NAFTA freight totaled $93.2 billion in September 2015 as all modes of transportation carried less value of freight than a year earlier, according to the TransBorder Freight Data released today by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) (Figure 1, Table 1). Year-over-year, the value of U.S.-NAFTA freight flows by all modes decreased by 8.8 percent. Large decreases in the value of commodities moved by pipeline and vessel in September were due to the reduced unit price of mineral fuel.
