Manac Trailers USA, Inc., today announced it has been honored with the 2016 Plant Safety Award from the Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA). In addition the Oran, MO facility reached a milestone of over a half-million hours without a lost time accident.

This is the third year Manac Trailers USA, Inc., has been awarded a plant safety award from TTMA. The awards were presented to Charles Dutil, President of Manac on April 26th during TTMA’s 75th Annual Convention in Amelia Island, FL.
Award determinations are based on direct comparison of injury data from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Annual Summary Form 300A, the same data used by the National Safety Council and the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Awards are given to tank and trailer manufacturers based on the number of man-hours worked. The company operations won in Category C for plants that reported under 300,000 man hours.
