Convention Dress Code

Average temperatures in the Ponte Vedra Beach, FL area in October include daily highs between 76°F and 82°F  with lows from 71°F to 62°F. The current forecast for the week of the 27th Annual NTDA Convention is sunny to partly cloudy and highs of 82°F and overnight lows of 69°F.

Ponte Vedra Weather

The NTDA Convention is Business/Resort Casual. Slacks or knee length shorts, polo shirts, button down shirts, nice shoes or sandals are appropriate for men. No ties or sports coats, please! Pants/slacks, capri pants, skorts, skirts, sun dresses are appropriate for ladies. Life is short…wear comfortable shoes!

TPC Golf Dress Code

Men must wear a collared shirt and tailored, Bermuda-length shorts or pants. Ladies must have a collar on their top. Shorts or skirts of appropriate length are allowed. Dress code applies to practice facility as well. Denim, tank tops, t-shirts, cut-offs, athletic shorts and metal spikes are NOT allowed on the course.

Registered spouses and guests enjoy drinks by the pool or relax at the Cabana Beach Club (free shuttle available) on Thursday, Oct. 12. Drink tickets, lounge furniture and umbrellas sponsored by the NTDA and Travis Body & Trailer, Inc. Take a shuttle to St. Augustine, the oldest city in the U.S., (fee applies) on Friday, Oct. 13. Grab lunch, shop or walk around the historic district.

Golf Tee Times (Individual)

To play at either the Stadium Course or the Pete Dye Valley Course Oct. 9–11, 2017, guests must have room reservations at the TPC Marriott Golf Resort & Spa and you must provide your hotel confirmation number to receive discounted pricing. Pricing is as follows: TPC Stadium Course — $430 per person (regularly $628) plus $25 forecaddie tip per player. Dye Valley Course — $165 per person (regularly $275) plus $25 forecaddie tip per player. Call (904) 273-3430 or (904) 273-8146 for tee time reservations.

Please keep in mind that all individually reserved tee times carry a 72-hour cancellation policy. Sawgrass is VERY stringent about their golf policies so please ensure you do not get charged if you have to cancel.

Business Center

The Sawgrass resort operates a retail UPS Store Business Center that provides business services (i.e., photocopying, facsimile services, etc.) to hotel guests, group attendees, and exhibitors. Hours of retail operation are: Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., and Saturday from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

The Sawgrass Marriott’s Security Department is staff 24 hours a day and randomly patrols the property. Dial “0” while at the Resort if you have any concerns or questions. Security officers are trained to handled various emergency situations. They are CPR-, AED- and First-Aid-certified.

Cancellation Policy

Substitutions allowable. Convention registration cancellations, including golf and/or optional tours, must be received in writing by Aug. 28, 2016 to qualify for a 100% refund. Convention registration cancellations, including golf and/or optional tours, received in writing between Aug. 29, 2017 and Sept. 9, 2017 qualify for a 50% refund. Please note that your bank may take 3–7 days to process a credit card refund once issued by the NTDA. Convention registration cancellations, including golf and/or optional tours, received Sept. 10, 2017 and after are not eligible for a refund.

Cancellation policies will be strictly enforced. Due to restrictive hotel policies, the NTDA must pay for contracted but unused guest rooms. Food and beverage guarantees as well as tour and golf guarantees
are due 30 days in advance. Once guarantees are made, they may be increased in some cases but not lowered. The NTDA must pay for what is guaranteed even if you must cancel within 30 days.

No Badge = No Admission

Individuals who are not registered or who do not have a badge will not be permitted to attend ANY of the conference programs, participate in receptions, meals or other social events, nor have access to the Exhibit Hall. This policy will be strictly enforced for the safety and security of our registered attendees. Spouses/guests and children must be registered to attend any meal functions, social events (receptions), sessions or exhibits. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
